Dr. Kolar was born and raised a Central Texan. After completing his undergraduate education at Texas State University, he felt a calling for the medical field leading him to enroll as a pre-med student at Baylor University.
Dr. Kolar continued his journey by moving to Tennessee to attend medical school at Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He then returned to his home state to complete his internal medicine residency at Medical City Weatherford. Throughout his education, Dr. Kolar served on the Honors and Ethics Committee, as well as, Junior Chief Resident from 2021-2022. Dr. Kolar is passionate about preserving the health of individuals and his community by practicing preventative medicine. He has been awarded by his residency for advocating for the needs of both his patients and those who work in collaboration with him. Not only does he consider it an honor and a privilege to provide quality care, but he takes joy in spending time with his patients to provide education on the importance of taking preventive measures for their health.
Dr. Kolar is excited to return to Central Texas to serve in the community he has always called home.
When he is not providing care to his patients, he can be found on fun adventures with his wonderful wife and daughter. Dr. Kolar is a coffee enthusiast, loves a spontaneous road trip, and is often engaged in something from his reading list. He finds joy in being surrounded by his friends and family, and is always ready to go to a baseball game.
